With Peter I learned a lot and pushed my limits like never before. For instance, after a tough race I would take 2 or 3 easy days to recover, instead Peter had me doing intervals shortly after. I got a few podiums and won a CX race! There is a lot of strength/core work, which in the past I did only in winter, but with Peter’s plan it was a constant all season and it really helps. Learned a lot about nutrition, Peter correctly diagnosed that I didn’t have enough carbs before races (and in general) so I modified my breakfast ritual and started to feel better and recovered faster. Also, I had an issue with my hands/wrist when I got a new bike and the geometry was different than what I was used to and Peter helped me find the correct grips and position. There is a lot of attention to detail from Peter and it translates to my own preparation for races, and I think it also applies to just being a better cyclist and a healthy lifestyle.
Peter centered my training and put me on the path to not only finish races, but make achievable progress and enrich my cycling lifestyle.
Thanks so much for your plan and coaching in helping me prepare for the Whiskey race in Prescott. I was able to finish with plenty of time to spare in meeting the cutoff times!
Just wanted to say thank you for not only your coaching but all of the resources throughout the year. It all works together really well and I’ve learned so much more about myself. The whole Consummate Athlete package has gone way beyond my expectations and I could not have imagined that such a thing existed when I first signed up. It’s easy to be wishful that I had had this when I was heavily into competing but I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity now. Big, huge thanks to you and Molly!
That’s why you are the coach, and why I trust you so much; and these little explanations are always makes me more motivated. Seeing the improvement in my fitness is a huge motivation to keep working focused, and disciplined. Unfortunately I don’t have unlimited time to train/ride, so we have to make the most out of every opportunity/time what I can spend on training.
