
Consummate Athlete has been providing cyclocross clinics to groups, clubs, and teams for over 10 years. We have traveled throughout North-America including Virginia, Manitoba, Toronto and New England. We are able to travel to your destination or we can host you at one of several local venues near Collingwood, Ontario. Group size is limited to current Covid19 limitations but morning and afternoon sessions are possible for larger groups.

Beginner Sessions
Introduction to the foundational aspects of cyclocross and offroad cycling. Cycling experience on-road and some gravel or mountain biking is an asset. participants will become familiar with the sport of cyclocross, basic rules of the sport, and an understanding of the skills and tactics required to navigate the course safely.
Intermediate/Advanced Cyclocross Skills Clinic
Come practice and hone your cyclocross skills with longtime skills coaches and cyclocross fanatics Peter Glassford and Molly Hurford. If you’ve already done a few races and can remount/dismount but are looking to get a leg up on the competition this season, this is the clinic for you. We’ll be taking the basics—cornering, barriers, remounts, dismounts, riding in different conditions and sprinting off the start line—and really focusing on bringing each skill to the next level for you. Come prepared to work hard, as we’ll be packing a ton of practice into two hours!
Women’s Cyclocross Skills Clinic
A flexible session that can be made advanced or beginner depending on the groups’ focus.
Advanced/Race Session
A session focused on tactics and the ‘critical moments’ of cyclocross racing. Intervals, race sims, and scenarios. The intermediate/advanced session (or a private session) should be completed prior to choosing this focus to ensure that time is not being lost on fundamentals.

Peter has been coaching bike skills for over 20 years and is a Chartered Professional Coach and Registered Kinesiologist. He specializes in helping adult cyclists balance training with work and
family responsibilities by focusing on health/wellness and technical skills. Molly literally wrote the book on cyclocross in North America and has the cowbell tattoo to prove it! She has coaching certifications for cycling, running, and yoga. Both have raced cyclocross at the elite level all over North America.
