Last week, I was invited to host a women’s chat for the Ontario Cycling Association all about riding comfort for women during their women’s week. I LOVE doing these talks, and while we can’t hold women’s night in bike shops right now, the virtual talks have been super fun and rewarding. (You can get more info on our virtual talk options here, we love hanging out with clubs and groups!)
This talk was a blast — I got to wax poetic on breathing comfortably and how that relates to our jersey and sports bra choices, my deep love of bib shorts, what the deal with chamois cream is, and how women’s cycling apparel, from head to toe, can be tricky to choose. The OCA put the whole talk here on YouTube for women who missed it, so if you’re a new rider or know a new rider who needs to learn about how to make cycling more comfortable, give this a watch or listen!
Want to learn more? I literally wrote the book on this stuff. You can get “Saddle, Sore: Ride Comfortable, Ride Happy” right here:
