As a podcaster myself, it’s fun jumping on other podcasts as a guest because a) way less pressure and way more fun, and b) it gives me a chance to hear how other people are interviewing and steal some tips! So, I was just on the Echelon Podcast as a guest of my friend Adam Zimmerman. About 10 years ago, I met Adam and his now wife back in NJ, through triathlon and cycling. We’ve all stayed in terrible touch for the last few years, and they’re now out in CO and I’m in Ontario, so we had A LOT to catch up on when Adam and I hopped on this call. I’m not often the interviewee, so it’s always fun to be on the other side of the mic! We talked about my background in cycling and triathlon, where I’m at now, and basically all of the different projects that I’m working on. So if you’ve ever wondered what my background in the industry and in racing/training is, or you’re just trying to figure out WTF I do since one day I’m writing a piece on nutrition for Outside and the next I’m commentating for FloBikes at RenoCross and the next day I’m recording a new Consummate Athlete Podcast episode and working on a new book proposal… This is the episode for you!
