Maja Tesch has opened my eyes to the craziest new sport that I now desperately want to do: SWIM RUN. It’s crazier than a triathlon because the races can be any distance and can involve more than 30 transitions from water to land. You also don’t transition, so what you start in is what you swim and run in—including shoes. Did I mention that you’re tethered to a partner? WTF! It sounds amazing and I want to do it ASAP. And I promise you will too once you hear Maja talk about it—and how she became World Champ a couple years back and as a pro, still balances life and work with training. She now races for VivoBarefoot, so we also dive into why barefoot is great in general, and especially for swim/run, and we talk about how people can transition to the #barefootlife.
