If you’re a cyclist, runner or triathlete who ever travels for racing or training, or honestly, even on vacation or business in general, you know that recovering from a plane ride can be brutal, and recovering post-race when you have a flight the next day sucks. So, when Bicycling wanted me to round up the recovery tools that I’ve been using on the road, and that other experts in the travel/cycling field actually use regularly, I was stoked. This list isn’t just foam rollers and foam roller substitutes: I get into everything, from nutrition to sleep hygiene and all that fun stuff… plus some foam rollers that are just awesome for on the road.
