Today a look at developing the rear wheel lift for this 2012 edition of the ‘bike skills project’, live from a clinic that Peter did at Durham forest. The concepts around positioning and how you are lifting your rear wheel still apply many years later!
Peter discusses the risk of using too much forward body lean to unweight the rear wheel, rather than maintaining ready position and focusing on unweighting the bike and using your arms to push the bike down on the other side of the log.
