REI is having a huge Boxing Day sale with 50% off a lot of awesome stuff, and I’ll be honest, I did some shopping today. I won’t belabor this point because I know everyone is busy today, so real quick, here’s what went into my cart:
Shimano ME3 Mountain Bike Shoes: Apparently, the toebox on these is way wider than the shoes I’ve been wearing and I desperately needed a new pair for the camp we’re coaching this week. So, perfect timing!
Altra Superior 3.5 Trail-Running Shoes: I reviewed these a few months ago and said they were easily some of t he best trail shoes I’d ever run in, and a perfect blend of zero drop minimal style with enough padding to run on rocky terrain, but I had some issues with their construction. But… when they’re this marked down, I suddenly am way more OK with their cost-to-wear ratio.
REI Co-op Quarter Dome 2 Tent: I already have this, but since it’s on sale for 50% off, I’m including it here. This thing is ultra-light, super easy to put up, and could cram Peter and I in without any real issues, despite it being technically a single person tent. If you’re looking for a good camping/hiking tent, highly recommend.
Brooks Hot Shot Sports Bra: I bought this same bra in black and white stripes this summer and loved it, so definitely buying the all black version!
SeaVees California Special Varsity Shoes: These are the cutest, coziest gray sneakers I’ve seen, and as you all know, I love a good head-to-toe groutfit.
