I popped onto one of my favorite cycling podcasts, The Outspoken Cyclist, this weekend to talk about all things fall cycling kit and gear-related. (I love being a cycling fashion correspondent!) This week was a fun one, talking about how to deal with dropping temps, what’s worth the cash and what isn’t worth it. My feelings on raincoat versus winter jacket run deep. (Raincoat ALL THE WAY, and a couple reviews on some new favorites coming soon.)
My biggest discovery (not so new, but still…) for weather as it starts getting chilly is a BUFF. I am obsessed. For $10, you get a neck/face/headwarmer that can stuff in your pocket. How can you go wrong? I’m also a big fan of wool socks — you might not think it but they make a HUGE difference in chilly weather.
