Svein Tuft is a Canadian cycling legend and a total badass when it comes to his daily lifestyle. He’s on Rally-UHC Cycling this season and I was lucky enough to interview him at their team camp (in one of my favorite spots, Silver Strand Beach in Oxnard, CA!) and we talked all things cycling, but we also dove into how he’s been a pro for two decades. The answer? A lot of other movement that isn’t pedaling his bike. The guy does everything, and to illustrate, consider his morning routine in Oxnard: He would get up ahead of his teammates, run the 1.5 mile beach, stop to do some yoga stretches, scramble across the rocks, and end with a swim in the freaking freezing water.
Intrigued? You’re going to want to read his story.
