It’s finally here: “Shred Girls: Lindsay’s Joyride” is officially published and available! This morning I woke up and kind of felt a little surreal. Since Rodale Kids (now an imprint of Random House) picked up the Shred Girls series two years ago, it’s been the craziest ride with the coolest team, from my editors at RH to the amazing Violet LeMay illustrating to my awesome agent Rhea helping keep everything moving… and in a lot of ways, it seemed like May 7 was never going to actually get here. Two years can feel like no time at all, or forever. But today, the first book in the Shred Girls series is shipping out around the world and I am just so excited that I don’t know what to do with myself.
Which, of course, meant I needed to write a post about it, because that’s what I do with excited feelings. HUGE THANK YOU to all of you who’ve ordered, pre-ordered, come to an event already, or supported the Shred Girls in some way or another. It’s been so cool to hear from so many rad young girls in the last couple years—and of course, I’m celebrating today’s launch by heading out to do a NICA ride with some NJ girls tonight… followed by ice cream at my favorite spot!
