Basically, the Functional Threshold Power test is a 20-minute sustainable effort, but there’s a lot more to it than that, from how to do the test right to how you can actually use that data to improve as a cyclist. Honestly? I thought I knew all about it, but talking to the experts for this one, I learned a ton about why it matters for cyclists and what I can do to test mine more effectively and to improve it!
