Over on Bicycling.com, I wrote a really fun piece about how to build a training plan that makes sense for you if you don’t work a standard Monday to Friday 9 to 5 job—which is, to be honest, a huge chunk of people in the workforce! Honestly, it’s a little bonkers that we still assume the majority of people are in a standard 40 hour workweek in an office. So, I interviewed a few awesome coaches about how to even take a pre-made training plan or just basic training concepts to create a training schedule that works for your lifestyle. For some (like those who work weekends, but otherwise have a fairly standard 5 8-hours/days of work per week; or who work 9 to 5, but 9PM to 5AM as night shift), this is pretty simple. For others, like those who work four days on, four days off, it’s more complicated. Check out the article, and if you have specific questions for your style of work, let us know in the comments or over on Instagram!
