Sourdough bread: the final frontier of baking. Or, arguably, the simplest bread to make but also kind of the toughest to master. I’ve been trying to get more into baking and making my own food (ahem, see my story on wanderlust vs homesteading—this is why I’m already sort of excited to be home from the next 5 months of travel!) and I was really excited to have a reason to bug a lot of bakers and nutrition experts about the benefits of sourdough bread, how to make it, how to get a starter going, what to do when you have too much starter, and so many other questions.
