Should You Exercise With A Cold? … And Other Workout Myths Debunked

If you have a cold, does that mean you should crash on the couch, or still head out for your run or yoga class? If you do enough crunches, will you end up with a six-pack? Will lifting heavy weight make you super swole? These are the questions — and over on Nylon, I found a bunch of experts to weigh in on them, plus a bunch of other misconceptions around working out. Honestly? Some of them are super common, and even I wasn’t sure of the answer when I started writing this article. And a lot of them, though they might seem like common sense to a veteran athlete, are things we could use reminders about. So, give it a read!
