Some runners are lucky enough to just sort of skate through their training, doing well in whatever their goals may be without any issues, injuries or problems. Those runners are few and far between, unfortunately. I used to consider myself one of them, if I’m being honest, but even looking back, I see that I absolutely could have used some expert input when it came to how I was eating, training and—again, if I’m being honest—overtraining. So even if you don’t think anything is off about your running now, check out this list of warning signs so you can be prepared for any issues that come up, because the one thing I’m learning now is that early intervention is SUPER important.
