How to Actually Enjoy Running with Other People
I confess, while I love my running crew now, when someone I haven’t run with asks me to go for a run, I internally freak out a bit. What if we don’t run at the same pace? What if it’s too easy/hard/etc.? But at the same time, it’s awesome to get people who are newer to running, or just want someone to run with, out on the trails. So, over on MapMy Run, I looked at the typical people you’d end up bringing out for a run, from parents to kids to co-workers, and dove into some of the tricky territory you might run into. Ahem, competing with a coworker… Do any of these help you? I found thinking it through really changed my approach with how I got my sister out on a recent run!
